All in the Timing
Brimming with smart humor and wacky characters, All in the Timing is a collection of six short plays that comment on relationships, historical events, and the human condition. Whether it's three chimpanzees trying to write Hamlet, a man cursed with being in a "Philadelphia" where nothing seems to go right, or Leon Trotsky reliving his death over and over again, All in the Timing combines slapstick humor with incisive comedic insight that will leave you laughing and thinking long after the curtain falls.
Speech and Debate
Three teenage misfits in Salem, Oregon discover they are linked by a sex scandal that has rocked their town. When one of them sets out to expose the truth, the secrets become currency, the stakes get higher, and the trios connection grows deeper in this searching, fiercely funny dark comedy with music. In this age of social networking, Twitter and Facebook, identities are always changing. And no one is who they seem. Even if you don't know "LOL" from "OMG", you'll want to be among the first to log on to this hip, moving and controversial new work. (Adult Themes)
Parade
The tragic, true story of the trial and lynching of a man wrongly accused of murder is brought to emotional and theatrical life by acclaimed playwright Alfred Uhry, (Driving Miss Daisy) and Jason Robert Brown, one of Broadway's most promising young composers, (Songs For A New World). In 1913, Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-born Jew living in Georgia, is put on trial for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan, a factory worker under his employ. Already guilty in the eyes of everyone around him, a sensationalist publisher and a janitor's false testimony seal Leo's fate. His only defenders are a governor with a conscience and, eventually, his assimilated Southern wife who finds the strength and love to become his greatest champion.
Crack open a Natty Light, grab that can of Jalapeno Pringles, and head back down to Starke, Florida, the home of the world’s most famous Trailer Park, “Armadillo Acres”. That’s where a love triangle is brewing that would make Jerry Springer blush! Agoraphobic housewife Jeannie hasn’t left her trailer in 20 years and her beer guzzling, toll collector husband, Norbert, is fed up. That’s when a gorgeous stripper named Pippi moves in next door and really starts to heat things up!
