Rachel is ecstatic to be making her Farmers Alley debut while playing one of her dream roles! Born & raised in Pittsburgh PA, she has spent over a decade performing around the world (83 countries & counting). Rachel’s favorite credits include: “Into the Woods” (Baker’s Wife), “American Idiot” (Heather), “Rocky Horror” (Janet), “Les Miserables” (Fantine), “Nunsense” (Robert Anne) & two years with the Broadway hit “Million Dollar Quartet”. Brandon had such a blast as Tommy DeVito in JERSEY BOYS last fall so he is thrilled to be back with the amazing Farmers Alley family! He began his professional career in Chicago, where he was a company member with the House Theatre of Chicago before moving to Los Angeles. Allison will be making her Farmers Alley Theatre debut as her dream role in “Beautiful! The Carole King Musical”. She is a New York based actress originally from Chicago, IL. Her most recent credits include “Beautiful! The Carole King Musical”, “Working”, and “Men on Boats”. She’s a Meisner trained actress thanks to her Alma Mater, The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater. In the past year, she has been studying at The Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade to further comedic writing and improv skills. She’s excited to create some music and magic with this “Beautiful” cast! (pun intended).

Jason is an actor from Kalamazoo, Michigan and is thrilled to be back home at Farmers Alley Theatre! This year, he graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Music Composition. You might have seen Jason before as Mark in "RENT" and Billy Cane in "Bright Star"! Other credits include Frederick Barrett in "Titanic" and Mr. Lindquist in "A Little Night Music" at the University of Michigan. Jason is a Jimmy Award Nominee (2021), and is the proud recipient of the 2020 Irving S. Gilmore Student Art Scholarship.

Braeden, a musical theatre major at the University of Michigan, cannot wait to be in Farmers Alley Theatre’s production of “Beautiful”! His most recent work includes roles such as Noel in “Ride the Cyclone” at Farmers Alley, Phoebus in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at the University of Michigan, and Curly in “Oklahoma!” at Loy Norrix High School. Sydney is thrilled to return to Farmers Alley Theatre! She has performed locally with both Farmers Alley (Lorraine in “Jersey Boys”, Patty in “School of Rock”) and the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre (The Witch in “Big Fish”, Featured Dancer in “Catch Me If You Can”). Rebekah is thrilled to join the cast of “Beautiful”! Originally from Michigan, Rebekah holds a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and is currently pursuing her MM as a graduate assistant at WMU. Rebekah has worked in theatre, opera, and film and television on the East Coast as well as in the Midwest. Recent roles include Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Maria (The Sound of Music), and Caroline Neville (Titanic). Lori's first album when she was 11 was Tapestry and Carole King's music is embedded in her soul. She was last seen at Farmers Alley Theatre as Miss Shingle in "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder". In addition to her 36 year acting gig of sounding happy at 6am on the radio, other favorite roles include: Mame, Mama Rose, Dolly Levi, Mabel Normand, Clairee and Miss Hannigan at The Kalamazoo Civic, The Barn Theatre, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre and WMU.

Michael is extremely excited to be back on the FAT stage after a two year break. Especially for this show!! He feels lucky to have been in multiple productions at FAT which include “Parade” as Governor Slayton, Caleb in “Spit Fire Grill”, The Inspector in “A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder” and Dr. Norquist in “Bright Star”. He's had a lot of fun in many other productions at the Civic Theater and The New Vic Theater as well. Michael wants to thank his love, Linda Mah, for her encouragement to do this show and his family and crew at work for their support through the heavy rehearsal schedule.

Aija has been performing in theatre in and around the Kalamazoo area since she was six years old. She is thrilled to be part of “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” and to help bring this powerful story and music to life. Aija would like to thank the director, her incredibly talented castmates, and Farmers Alley Theatre for the opportunity to be part of such a special production.

Kathy served as Vice President of the board at Farmers Alley Theatre for 15 years and has directed 36 shows at the theatre since its inception in 2008. She also often designs costumes, sets, and projections. For the last year she has also taken on a new title as the theatre's Production Manager to guide and oversee every title in the season to production. Favorite shows she has directed for the theatre include: The Secret Garden, Next to Normal, The Light in the Piazza, Parade, Bright Star, Fun Home, A Gentleman’s Guide…, The Bridges of Madison County, Cabaret, and Working: A Musical.

Brendan Vincent is a sought-after music director who has toured professionally as soloist and music director in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Since moving to Grand Rapids he has performed with the Grand Rapids Symphony, Grand Rapids Ballet Company, Opera Grand Rapids, Broadway Grand Rapids, and more. Having shifted his focus to composition and direction he enjoys being on the other side of the stage conducting shows, orchestras, bands, and more. Find him at the park eating fried chicken and pushing his kids on the swings.
