Come from Away is a thrilling and heartfelt musical based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.
The ASL performance of Come From Away will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 2:00pm.
Come From Away is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

Brooklyn is so thrilled to be joining the Farmers Alley community to work on “Come From Away”! She recently graduated from Kalamazoo College with a dual degree in Theatre Arts and English. Outside of theatre Brooklyn enjoys her job as a nanny, and reading a good book. Huge thank you to the Farmers Alley team, and her family and friends for making this possible.
