The winner of six Tony Awards (including Best Musical), the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and an Olivier Award for Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen is a deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. The show features a book by Tony Award-winner Steven Levenson (Fosse/Verdon), and a score by EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Academy Award) winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, La La Land, The Greatest Showman).
All his life, Evan Hansen has felt invisible. But when a tragic event shocks the community and thrusts him into the center of a rapidly evolving controversy, Evan is given the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to be somebody else.
Dear Evan Hansen is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
The American Sign Language interpreted performance is on Sunday, July 19th at 2:00pm. ASL performances are generously sponsored by Barbara Rider and Fred Sammons as well as John and Lisa Schuemann.
